You should be feeling worn down by now, as you had an outstanding year. To be honest, I’m feeling a bit beat up myself. My fingers hurt, my shoulders are pronated from living on a keyboard, and my brain needs a break.
2015 was the best year of Danger & Play of all time.
Thank you. This truly is a group effort.
(Also, why haters can’t get me down.)
How you feel is a product of your focus. People asked me at my seminars in Los Angeles and London, “How can you deal with so much hate without it bringing you down?”
The answer is focus.
There are entire hate websites devoted to me, and people on Twitter contact me and even people I’m talking to to share their hatred of me. I could focus on that…
Or I could focus on you.
People say how giving I am with my time, and my answer is, “Of course.” As much as I give to you, you give me far more.
The online game is brutal and selling books is among the hardest business there is. Selling 10,000 copies of a book is major, and to be honest, that was my goal for Gorilla Mindset. I wanted to think big by focusing on selling 10,000 copies in the first year.
Because of you, Gorilla Mindset has sold over 16,000 copies in its first six months. Even better: Gorilla Mindset still sells 80 copies a day with no sign of slowing down.
Without your continued support – whether that’s sharing a link, buying my books, telling your friends about my books, attending a seminar, or leaving reviews on Amazon – I wouldn’t be doing this.
Some 2015 highlights include:
- Gorilla Mindset was the top mindset book release of 2015,
- 20,000 Twitter followers gained,
- Highest website traffic of all time at D&P,
- Led funding campaign for a documentary
- Two Gorilla Mindset seminars in two continents given.
The best book of 2015.
Even though I didn’t make a huge push for Danger & Play: Essays on Embracing Masculinity, it has already sold more books than 90% of non-fiction new releases.
While the Gorilla Mindset seminar in London went well, the Los Angeles seminar was even better.
We are always improving.
Now is the time to rest and reflect.
The New Year is upon us.
Although it’s true that making New Year’s Resolutions is for chumps, take some time to chill out.
Spend some time with family and friends.
If you’re alone, go volunteer at a soup kitchen. That’s not a troll. Get outside of yourself and push yourself by doing something uncomfortable.
If you succeeded, feel good about yourself. You can’t rest on your laurels for years, but a few days of enjoying your success will give you more energy for 2016.
Even if you failed, start planning.
What’s coming in 2016?
We have a big year ahead of us.
- Gorilla Mindset video course,
- As part of the Gorilla Mindset course, there will be a private Facebook group,
- Two documentaries about the pushback against SJWs.
- Another major book release. This book will sell more than Gorilla Mindset and shake up the world.
Until then I’m going to be relaxing.
I’ll also shoot some guns and run around in the cold doing Wim Hof breathing.
What do you have planned for 2016?
As always, let me know how I can help.
I don’t answer every email (it’d be impossible), but no virtual assistant screens them.
I read every nice email and every hater email.
Post your comment about your goals for 2016.
Tell us what you’re going to accomplish.
Let me know how we can help.
