Inside Marketing Baseball: The Real (Two) Reasons I’m Releasing Essays on Embracing Masculinity
I’m releasing this collection of essays for two reasons. First is because I hate that current customers and clients go on the back burner.
We all know the drill. When you sign up for a gym membership or cell phone, you’re at the front of the line. Once the company has your money, you’re shipped off to customer service hell when you have a problem or when you want something.
You guys have been great to me, so I want to be great to you. You wanted a best of collection: Even though it’s a pain in the ass to do and won’t be a huge profit center, I did one.
Second, the collection of essays is a new entry point for new readers. Gorilla Mindset is my signature product, and Gorilla Mindset is what I want everyone to buy. I am going to sell 100,000 copies of Gorilla Mindset.
People actually agonize over whether to buy a $8.99 Kindle book. As I spend thousands of dollars a year investing in myself, agonizing over a Kindle book purchase is not a mindset I can understand.
It’s probably best that people do not find my writing at all as they do not believe in themselves enough to spend the cost of a couple of lattes to build themselves up.
