More than a few of you have commented about the volume of posts.
- “[Write] fewer posts per week but more high quality ones. It is difficult to keep up.”
- “So many posts are coming out now — it’s hard to keep track of them all.”
- “It’s already really good. I actually think you post too much. I would not post more than one article per day.”
- “An RSS feed or archive so readers can work systematically through past posts – at the moment, if I miss a couple of weeks of reading, it isn’t easy to find what I’ve missed.
I’ll answer your feedback with one question and two responses.
I am working on a “New? Start Here” page. Which posts do you think the “New? Start Here” page should include?
I’ve created some user features that makes getting caught up easier.
First, bookmark the Archives. The Archives contain a list of every post ever published, organized by day.
Second, I have created a Category Archives for you. The Category Archives contain every post, organized by category.
Third, do you see that Disqus widget on the right hand side of the screen (if you’re on a desk top)? The default setting is the Recent tab, and it shows the most recent comments.
You can click on the Popular tab on the Disqus widget to see which posts are getting the most action.
Check out the changes to the Danger & Play home page.
I may do a weekly retrospective, linking to previous posts and giving a brief summary of the posts, to make sure everyone stays caught up.
